Wine Review: This wine opens with a blast of black licorice and black current. On the palate, this fairly well proportioned wine is medium bodied, fruit forward, juicy, and tasty. I have tried the "Westside" a lot over the years and this vintage is my favorite as far as I can remember. I usually prefer Peachy’s single vineyard Zins. The finish is a bit dry and has a touch of heat. This wine is intended to be consumed young and will serve you well at your summer parties and barbecues. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our new vintage of this flagship wine has all the components of a Zinfandel that is both elegant and exotic. It shows nice earth tones with black pepper and spice along with notes of cherries, strawberries and blueberries. This wine has a velvet texture on the palate with sweet plums and the finish shows a bit of minerality.
