Wine Review: This ruby red wine opens up with a spicy and slightly musty nose. There seems to be a touch of heat as well, but that dissipated with time and air. On the palate, the wine is round, slightly acidic, and juicy. This medium bodied wine’s flavor profile is raspberry and almost Zin like. The finish is dry and brief. This easy to drink wine has enough zing to match well with buffalo styled or BBQ chicken wings. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Bordeaux meets the Rhone Blend. These different varieties compliment each other with the different flavor and aroma profile. Flavors consist of cedar, currant, blackberry jam and raspberries with a hint of toasted oak. Aromas are made up of dark plums, bing cherries, raspberry cola and subtle black currant.
