Wine Review: I have been drinking Sebastiani wines for a few years now. I have found the Secolo’s and Alexander Valley Cabernet’s to be Very Good to Excellent. This wine fits the Excellent category. This wine comes closest to my first love from Sebastiani. The 1999 Alex. Valley Cab. Both wines are yummy. This wine has extraordinary flavors. It is medium bodied with moderate tannins that tingle the tongue thorough a reasonably long finish. I am glad I bought two bottles of this wine. I can’t wait to open the next one. It will be soon, as this wine is ready now and will not really improve in the long run. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark crimson in color, this wine is famed for its aromatics. Your nose will bask in the black cherry, black tea and toasty oak aromas. The flavors echo the nose with forward, lush fruit and a touch of smoke, dried herbs and terroir/soil on the soft finish. The wine is supple and elegant and a beautiful match for Kobe beef skewers and pot roast. Taste the soul of Sonoma in Secolo!
