Wine Review: On our recent trip to Long Island, this wine was the best wine we tried. Unfortunately, it is available to club members only. So we would suggest you join. On the nose, this wine has a mild bouquet, but some vanilla scents are clearly present. On the palate, the wine has pure vanilla flavors with a touch of oak. The finish was expressive and flavorful. You should go out of your way to try this wine. Enjoy, we did. – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2005 Reserve Chardonnay is undoubtedly the finest Chardonnay produced in Bedell’s 25-year history. It is a culmination of our ongoing commitment to making world-class, hand crafted wines. A bright straw color, the 2005 Reserve Chardonnay is unctuously textured with toasty aromas of orange and Magnolia blossoms. The palate unfolds in the mouth to reveal seamlessly integrated layers of lemon custard, fresh baked wheat bread, and honeysuckle. With only 375 cases made, it is destined to become a collector's item.
