Wine Review: This very dark purple wine opens with a very fragrant spicy blackberry bouquet with hints of cherry and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is round, a touch acidic, has a dry mouthfeel, and has dusty dark chocolate flavors with some plum flavors as well. The finish is dry and a bit tingly. This is a Very Good gourmet burger wine smothered with sautéed onions, mushrooms, and melted swiss cheese. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: "This is the second vintage of the Indian Wells Cabernet, and the wine showcases the characteristics of a warmer climate Cabernet. The wine opens with explosive fruit aromas. Flavors and aromas of jammy blackberry, smoke, warm toast and hints of vanilla mingle on the palate." - Bob Bertheau, Winemaker
